The Bicycles That Ate Mansfield

Mansfield is preparing for a two-wheeled invasion this weekend, as the cycling fraternity descend on the High Country for a weekend of local touring, tasting, and tippling.

Hence our window display with an old bike decorated for the occasion.

The shop will be open both days on the weekend to welcome visitors to sample the delights of our many and varied wineries.

And speaking of sampling, those at the Bonnie Doon Music and Busker Festival last weekend had fantastic three days of wonderfully diverse musical entertainment, food, and great beverages from Tin Shed Cider, Grand Ridge Brewery, and, of course, High Country Wine Cellars.

Thank you to everyone who came to our stall and purchased a glass or bottle and were so complimentary about the wines we served. Amongst those enjoyed were Barwite Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Ros Ritchie Sauv Blanc, High Country Riesling, Mansfield Park Cab Merlot and Little River Shiraz Cab.

Here’s hoping for favourable weather for our lycra clad visitors this weekend as they discover the beautiful Mansfield and High Country region for the annual Tour de Flavour.

Keep on pedalling.
