PHEW! We have certainly had some stinkers over the past few weeks, and even Mansfield hasn’t escaped the heat, with the temperature climbing into the high 30’s and low 40’s.
These conditions call for a delicious, cold, crisp Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, or even a lovely dry Pinot Noir Rose, and our cellar door has these varieties and more. Our fridge is stocked with a range of wines already chilled, ready to pour when you get home.
Jamieson and Mansfield beers are still proving to be very popular, as is the Tolmie Tin Shed Cider-all chilled and ready to drink.
Valentines Day is just around the corner so for your special loved one, why not a bottle of Sparkling to celebrate. We have bubbles from Kinloch, Little River, Buxton Ridge, and Ros Ritchie for your enjoyment.
Nothing beats the sound of that cork popping and the first showing of fizz and bubble as you pour it into an elegant flute, maybe with a strawberry in the bottom.
February tends to be a quieter month, both at home with kids back at school, and in many retail businesses following the pre Christmas then New Year holiday period. But we are still here and open for business, but have scaled down a bit.
Trading hours for this month will be Wednesday to Saturday 11am to 5pm. Other days can be arranged by appointment, just call David on 0437 117693.
March and April promise to liven up again with various long weekends and lots of local festivals and events in and around Mansfield.
Thank you to everyone who has called into High Country Wine Cellars, your business and positive feedback is always appreciated.
