The move into High st has certainly aroused much interest, as well as plenty of foot traffic in the door which is very encouraging.
Mansfield has been busy over the past few weekends with the High Country Festival and picnic races drawing big crowds (and good sales for us) with perfect weather to boot.
The following weekend we had the Targa racing cars here with their street circuit on Sat arvo and racing around the High Country on the Friday and Monday.
This weekend we had the Mansfield show on Saturday, where thankfully the weather held out until the early hours of Sunday morning when we received 30mm of very welcome rains. That is about what we received in total for October so it was wonderful to hear it pelting down and giving our local vineyards a good drink.
Speaking of a good drink, we are pleased to announce that we will now be stocking a selection of Delatite Wines. They have now moved their cellar door back to the winery so we will now carry some of their fine wines.
The rage will include the Estate grown Delatite label, as well as their new ‘High Ground’ label,. This label sources grapes from their own vineyard as well as externally from other high Country vineyards.
Our cellar door will carry a cross-section of their range, but we can order in anything from Delatite’s extensive selection.
With our full range of Upper Goulburn Wines, some gems from Strathbogie, and the local beers and Tin Shed Cider, all your fine Christmas drinking can be found under one roof-after all, we don’t call ourselves ‘The Wine Tour Without the Bus’ for nothing.
Trading hours are now extended to include Sundays from 11am to 5pm, and in December we will be opening 7 days a week.
Mansfield is now gearing up for the arrival of 4000 participants in the Great Victorian Bike Ride on Wednesday December 3, and their rest day on Thursday, right here in town, before heading off again on Friday. What a fantastic few days it promises to be.
