The garden is sprouting, new shoots on the vines are appearing, and the season is changing with longer, and thankfully warmer days.
Last Sunday saw Spring celebrated with the Mansfield Winemakers Spring Graze at the Mansfield Racecourse.
A truly glorious afternoon was had, with the weather Gods at their absolute generous best, allowing the 120 guests to sit under the trees outside, as copious amounts of delicious food, prepared by local chefs, was served.
Of course a superb range of local wines from all our best Mansfield Winemakers was on hand to enjoy with the fine food, plus live entertainment from famed Bluegrass musicians The Davidson Brothers.
Susan Kinloch and her team did an awesome job, with Spring ushered in with style.
On our website is an order form for all the beautiful wines that were served on the day, which you can now take home yourself and relive the Graze, or if you weren’t lucky enough to be there, grab a few bottles and judge for yourself.
Download the form now and get your order into us so you don’t miss out.
It was a busy weekend for the shop, as High Country Wine Cellars was a sponsor of the inaugural Mansfield One Act Play Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Wines from the shop were served at the kiosk, and David was on hand to offer some tastings across the weekend. A new event for Mansfield that will hopefully become a regular on the calendar.
As October approaches things will get really busy with the High Country Festival, Arts Festival, and Cup Day Picnic Races, so lots to look forward to.
Hope to see you in the shop for a tasting, a glass of wine, or a bottle or two to take away. Cheers.
